Contesting a Will and Inheritance Disputes

Contesting a Will and Inheritance Disputes 2024-10-02T11:43:00+00:00

The Law allows an individual to leave their estate to whoever he or she wishes.

However, the Law also provides for various circumstances in which a variety of people may claim financial provision from a deceased’s estate either on the basis that the deceased had not made reasonable financial provision for them or on the basis that the validity of the Will may be challenged.

In some circumstances, there are strict time limits within which claimants must act, so if you do consider that you should have benefited from somebody’s estate for any reason it is essential that you do not delay in taking proper professional advice.

If you want to write or update a Will, visit our Wills page. If you need assistance obtaining Probate, see our Probate page.

Excellent service, very politely given by solicitor.
